• Click the "Start Your Submission" button on the awards website to begin.

• Create an account using your email address. This will allow you to save your progress and return to your entry anytime before the submission deadline on 1 June 2025.

Step 2: Provide Business and Applicant Details

• Enter your business details, including your legal business name, ABN, and business contact information.

• Add links to your website and social media profiles to help judges explore your business further.

• Next, complete the applicant details section. If you are the business owner, simply check the box confirming your status. If someone else is completing the entry, ensure their name, title, and contact information are included.

The application is divided into 9 sections, covering all key aspects of your business. Each section includes a combination of multiple-choice and short-answer questions designed to help you provide a comprehensive view of your business.

1. Vision & Strategy

• Demonstrate how your business has established a clear vision and mission.

• Share insights on your strategic planning and goal-setting process.

• Highlight how your vision is communicated across your team.

Example Questions:

• Does your business have a documented vision and mission?

• Which strategic areas do you focus on in your business plan?

2. Customers & Marketing

• Explain how you identify and serve your target audience.

• Describe your marketing strategies and how you measure success.

• Provide examples of innovative campaigns or customer engagement initiatives.

• Do you have a marketing plan?

• What channels do you use to connect with customers?

Tip: Provide specific examples and include supporting information like testimonials, case studies, or campaign outcomes.

3. Operations

• Outline how your business operates efficiently and sustainably.

• Detail any technology or systems you use to improve processes.

• Explain how you monitor and assess operational success.

• How often do you evaluate your operational performance?

4. People & Culture

• Showcase your leadership style and how you build a positive workplace culture.

• Describe your hiring, training, and development practices.

• Highlight initiatives that promote diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being.

• How does your business encourage collaboration?

Tip: Include real examples of how your team has contributed to your success.

5. Social Responsibility

• Demonstrate how your business gives back to the community.

• Explain any sustainability initiatives and how your business operates responsibly.

• Does your business support charitable or social change initiatives?

• How does your business promote sustainability?

6. Financial Acumen

• Provide insights into how you manage your business finances.

• Explain how you track financial performance and ensure profitability.

Example Questions:

• How often do you review cash flow projections?

• Do you have a set budget and monitor it regularly?

Supporting information can significantly strengthen your entry. You may upload:

• Business photos (e.g., team photos, workplace images)

• Product or service images

• Media articles or case studies

• Awards and certifications

• Testimonials from customers or partners

Note: Please avoid uploading business logos, offensive material, collages, or photos of past award wins.

• You can review your entry anytime before the deadline by clicking on the submission link.

• Changes can be made even if you've marked your submission as complete.

• If your entry is marked as "In Progress" by the deadline, we will automatically submit your latest version — no action is needed from you.

Tip: There’s no need to stress about hitting "Complete." We’ll take care of it for you!

Once you've submitted your entry, you’ll gain access to your personalised Awards Portal. Here you can:

• Track your submission status

• View important dates and updates

• Access resources and helpful information about the awards program
